What this site is — and is not
It is an assessment of the quality and independence of publicly available evidence about humanoid robots.
It is not a safety rating, a certification, a financial or investment recommendation, a purchase recommendation, an endorsement, or a warranty that any robot will perform as described. Do not use it as any of those.
What our scores mean
Capability, Commercial Reality and Evidence Confidence are separate dimensions and are never combined into an overall rating. They describe the evidence we could find and verify, not the machine itself.
- A low score may mean thin public evidence rather than a poor robot.
- Insufficient data means we could not calculate a dimension at all. It is not a zero and does not rank above or below one.
- Evidence not ready is a statement about our sourcing, not a judgement of the manufacturer.
The methodology is published in full so you can disagree with it specifically rather than generally.
Accuracy, and what to do when we are wrong
We work from sources we capture durably and review. We will still sometimes be wrong, and published evidence itself is sometimes wrong.
Anyone may submit a correction — manufacturers included and especially welcome — through the corrections form. Submissions are read by a human and enter the normal review path. A submission never edits a score directly, and scores cannot be bought, and no commercial relationship changes an assessment.
Using our content
Cite us, quote us, argue with us. If you reference a score, please name the dimension and link to the profile, because a score quoted without its dimension is meaningless and we would rather not be misquoted.

Company names, product names and trade marks belong to their owners and are used here for identification and commentary. Their appearance implies no affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from those owners. Links to publisher sources are provided so you can check our working; we do not control and are not responsible for their content.
Availability
The site is provided as-is. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it.
Liability
